Because the way we work is based on a business model, we have to ensure that our projects are successful. The most important measure of success is whether the project is income generating and can produce a profit.
It is in our interest to make sure this happens otherwise we will not survive as a business. So we have to plan, manage and monitor all projects to a high standard. If we do a good job, then the farmers will do a good job. If the projects fail, we fail and the benefits to the farmers a gone.
We pan the whole process of each project with the farmers, The farmers run the projects and take ownership, we are there to provide guidance and support. We are involved at every stage, from the building of infrastructure such as irrigation systems, supplying of resources of seed and fertiliser, and the marketing of the produce. For example, if we were to give a farmer a bee hive, but not train them to use it, and then not help him sell the honey, then the bee hive would be a burden for him. We ensure that this does not happen by planning the full process from the production, to the processing to the marketing. We help solve problems and together as a team, the farmers and Agri Evolve succeed
A successful business is a sustainable one.
